Last Thursday PreK celebrate Gingerbread House Day by hosting a Family night. Parents helped their children build a Gingerbread House and then they all celebrated the season as students performed Rudolph and Jingle Bells.

🌿 How can people grow crops when there is not enough land or good soil? Fifth-grade students in Ms. Rohaley’s room posed this question and answered it as part of a project-based investigation. Students brainstormed possible solutions and agreed that a hydroponics’s unit would be the best solution. In hopes of furthering their investigation, Ms. Rohaley applied for a grant through the PTO funding to help students out their solution into action. The classroom received funding for the hydroponics’s unit and began the process. Students will plant various crops, record growth data, and enjoy the food.

Some of our middle/high students are hosting a winter concert TONIGHT as well!
Our Winter Concert, featuring both the North Elementary Orchestra and Choir is scheduled for Thursday, December 19 at 6 PM in the North Elementary gymnasium. We hope to see you there!
